  1. Slim is Simple, Really!

It’s been over a month since I’ve last updated Visually Fit, and last time, I was pissed off and burnt out with pretty much everything.  I was stagnant in my weight loss, things at home were tough, and I just felt like I was in a pit.

Fast forward about a month. I was still in a rut and needed to bounce back. I’m still about 4 lbs shy from where I was when I started the Lean Eating program, but at this pace, I’m bound to get below that. Far below that, I’m hoping.

I step on the scale every day. Sometimes twice or even three times a day. The scale has become my worst enemy on most days, while giving me a glimmer of hope on others.

One day I will step on the scale and I will get a read out of 271 pounds, as if it were saying “Great job, kid! You’re really on the right track!” Then on the following day, the bastard will tell me that I am up to 276, which is almost always followed by a “What the hell?!” and a general poopy-pants mood.
